Dr Fondevila is professor and researcher at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE). He is also member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores of the Comisión Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT). He has conducted research in human rights, citizen security, access to justice, rule of law, among other areas.
