Arnaud Dandoy is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences at the State University of Haiti and a cofounder of the Criminology Research Network of Humanitarian Action. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology (University of Kent, United Kingdom). In 2015, he was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship from the French Red Cross Fund, entitled “The impact of security risk management on social relations in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince”. For the past four years, Arnaud Dandoy has been working on various projects related to the carceral system in Haiti. His research involves supporting the implementation of alternatives to pretrial detention.
